Bill did an amazing job!! For a 2 1/2 hour wedding, he was very thorough and made us feel like we had a long wedding by capturing all of the must-have shots. Since we didn’t have a DJ, he also volunteered to introduce us into our reception area and did a great job with that as well. It’s obvious that he takes great pride in his work. He also helped with posing for family members who aren’t photogenic and throws a fun spin on it. He is a perfectionist….so if you aren’t looking for that, he may not be the right one for you. But if you want quality, memorable shots, he’s the one!!

Bill is awesome. He did our engagement photos and we loved him and the pictures so much that we didn’t have to look any further for our wedding photographer! He is so much fun, and did such a great job catching our candid moments and interacting with our guests. We have such incredible photos from our day!

Bill and Thalia were an amazing team to work with! My fiancé and I had such a special day and they were able to capture it better than we could have imagined. Bill really helped make it such a surprise, capturing the magical moments leading up to the proposal, exactly as I had always wanted it to be for her. Yet, we were still able to get our candid moments, little conversations, and laughs, memorialized forever thanks to Bill’s creativity and positive attitude. He had such a friendly and open personality, that made it so easy to smile and follow his ideas for capturing us as a couple. He was also there to help our friend set up some of the props we had for the initial look, which is something that we really needed given how windy it was on the day. A huge, and unexpected bonus, was the (short amount of) time that Bill took to capture the beauty of the ring. This was not something that I had asked him to do, but it turned out to be one of our favorite pictures. With all that went on between the Texas winter weather, unforeseen personal events, and a surprisingly closed second location on the day— they were so flexible making sure that we were still able to have our perfect day when it worked for us. They were also so helpful when answering my initial questions, which really stuck out to me and was why I had decided to go with Behind A Lens in the first place. Between their flexibility and desire to be a part of the experience with us, the moment could not have gone any more perfectly. Even after all was said and done, and we headed out to celebrate— Bill was keeping in contact with us, letting us know where he was in the process and was even able to get us a couple of really well-done “sneak peak” before the end of the night. This was just icing on the cake for the whole day, as we were able to enjoy it ourselves and share it with friends and family to cap off just an overall great experience! I could not recommend Bill & Thalia/Behind A Lens more for anyone looking to capture a special moment in their life. Thank you Bill and Thalia for making our day so special!

Bill was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to not only make sure our wedding photos looked great, but our wedding overall looked great. We didn’t use a wedding planner but bill helped coordinate a lot of things without us even asking. If there was an issue (there was one or two), Bill went out of his way to help us solve them. Our wedding photos look absolutely amazing and he did a fantastic job at arranging the photos and catching the smallest details. Something as simple as my wife’s engagement ring being crooked on her finger. I can’t recommend Bill enough. He was AMAZING!
